Introduction:
Since 1992, Samuel has constructed numerous homes in the west and east sides of Vancouver, West Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Delta, Surrey, and New Westminster.
Samuel has worked in Hong Kong, specializing in the managing and leading of corporate architectural planning and developments. Having completed many projects, he has worked with several well-known corporations such as CLP Power Hong Kong, Manulife Financial Holdings, Prudential Life Insurance, AIA Group Limited, Oracle and Sun Microsystems, Intel, MasterCard, and Swarovski Crystal. In addition, he has completed various retail and Japanese restaurant renovations. An excellent communicator, Samuel established connections with many building material manufacturers in China. He has vast knowledge of and experience in packaging and material ordering from China, including shipment management of international orders through Chinese suppliers.
Samuel established Licon Construction Ltd., accepting 4-6 new home construction projects each year. He has prior experience in constructing homes on complicated sites such as cliff sides and shore sides that are unique to the West Coast. He is also experienced in laneway house, duplex house, and town house construction. Furthermore, he is familiar with residential and commercial modification and renovations, rezoning and property development, heritage house lifting and renovation, and warehouse building.
Passive House and Net Zero homes perform at the highest levels of building efficiency measurements due to their thermal comfort and unique design details. For home building in Canada, the future is now. Samuel is a certified contractor who provides professional information to his clients.
Samuel is constantly active in local community organizations. By becoming the executive vice president of Vancouver Shunde Benevolent Association, he is able to assist new Chinese immigrants in becoming familiar with Canadian life. He is also a member of the Richmond Small Builder Ground. As a member, he promotes the influence and awareness of the Chinese construction trade in the local market. Furthermore, he represents the Chinese construction industry and expresses their views in each level of the government in order to increase the cohesion of the community.
